Modular Enclosures

Modular enclosures (often referred to as modular offices) are dynamic by nature. EFS modular enclosures are very flexible to your needs and can be designed with all types of applications in mind. From a single-story process room to a two-story office with a breakroom, modular enclosures allow your existing space to be transformed to meet the ever-growing needs of your business. The wide variety of materials, colors, and engineered walls allow owners, users, architects, and general contractors the flexibility to design an enclosure to meet the needs of the end-user. Beyond this there are many uses for modular enclosures:

  • Offices

  • Breakrooms

  • In-Plant Offices

  • Process enclosures

  • Clean rooms

  • Grow rooms

  • Laboratories

  • Conference rooms

Modular enclosure systems can save total project cost compared to traditional construction. All material is pre-cut, mitered and finished. Additionally, there is also long term tax implications as well. Modular enclosures qualify as tangible personal property because, unlike permanent structures (designated as real property), modular enclosures and offices can be fully dismantled, relocated and reassembled.  This means you can depreciate a modular building in the same way as other capital equipment such as forklifts, rack and machinery (typically 7 years). Aside from the financial piece, modular buildings offer a simpler way to install as well.  Unlike traditional construction, with an EFS building you will not have to deal with weeks of noise, dust, and undesirable disruptions. Built-in electrical raceways for easy installation of electrical, phone and computer wiring can also be provided. Please contact us for a free consultation.

Mezzanines

When it comes to cubing out a facility, which means utilizing as much of the space above the floor as possible, mezzanines are a crucial tool to accomplishing any cubing goals. Mezzanines are steel structures that create additional storage/ operations space by adding a second level to your facility's existing floor. Mezzanines can be designed around existing equipment, building columns, and any other permanent or non-permanent obstructions. Typical uses in mezzanines are as follows:

  • Warehouses

  • Manufacturing facilities

  • Industrial plants

  • Academic facilities

  • Offices

  • Storage spaces

  • Work platforms

At EFS, we work very closely to ensure that all details are covered from on-site measurements to complete steel mezzanine design and worry-free installation. Additionally, all EFS mezzanines will be come PE Stamped by a licensed engineer for total structural safety.
